Members who already have had their vaccination statuses updated will only need to fob in at the Front Desk, i.e scan their card (plastic card with barcode) at the computer station, and not required to bring in their proof each time they visit MWSA
Non-members will need to bring their proof of vaccination each and every time they visit MWSA.
If you are not able to show proof of vaccination, or cannot wear a face mask, please stay home and participate in our online programming. Thank you for your cooperation.
The health and safety of the members and guests are a top priority. Please stay home (and isolate yourself) if you are sick or have any COVID-19 symptoms. We encourage everyone to get vaccinated. Let's all do our part in keeping each other safe. Thank you for your cooperation.
FACE MASKS: Mandatory, as of Sept 1, 2021. Face masks can be removed when eating/drinking, or during exercise classes.
SCREENING: All guests to complete the Alberta Health COVID-19 Screening questionnaire
HAND HYGIENE: Please wash your hands often, and use the hand sanitizer available throughout the centre, including the Front entrance, Front Desk, lounge areas, program rooms, gym and café
ONLINE CLASSES: We have online classes for members who are not ready for in-person programs just yet.
IN-PERSON DINING. In the café, for the safety of the dine-in customers and volunteers, we are taking extra precautions to minimize the handling of silverware and condiments, etc.; frequent cleaning of tables, and more
IN-PERSON PROGRAMS: Masks can be removed when exercising. We ask that you wear a mask for other programs.
MWSA's lunch and cinnamon buns to-go service, and online programming are ongoing. MWSA's Outreach (780-720-6213) and Home Support services are available during regular office hours. If you have any questions, concerns, or need to speak to a staff member, please call our Main Line (780-496-2997), Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The health and safety of our volunteers, members, staff, and instructors remain a top priority.

MWSA is a welcoming centre that meets the recreational, educational, and social needs of seniors in our community.
MWSA is a non-profit, charitable association formed in 2007. We can operate as an independent seniors association through grants, membership fees, registered program and drop-in fees, donations, and general fundraising.
